In
Watsu®, you are gently floated in warm water, stretched and moved
in ways that aren't possible on land due to restrictions of gravity. Watsu
promotes a deep state of relaxation with dramatic changes in the nervous
system. The Watsu Pool (Aquatic Therapy Pool-Suite) is located in the
East building (#750), first floor, west end. Benefits

also an accomplished didgeridoo player, offering sound healing using

is a CMT and Watsu practitioner. She graduated from Cortiva Institute
and has over 1000 classroom hours. She is available for table, chair
or warm water treatments. She has training and experience in Watsu,
Healing Dance, Shiatsu, Reiki, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Lymphatic
Massage and Swedish Massage. She combines traditional massage techniques
in her Watsu sessions. Each session is personalized by her deeply
listening to the body's specific rythms and needs. These sessions
have been descrived as "blissfully relaxing", nurturing
and transcendent. |

is a former Physical Education specialist with Adams County Schools,
has a Master's Degree in Psychology, and is currently near completion
of the W.A.B.A requirements for licensure as a Watsu Practitioner.
Still a student however, her goal is to complete her licensure requirements
by mid-2008. Take advantage of the opportunity to have a free Watsu
session with Jody. The only payment required is $25, which goes
directly to the Consulate Healing Center for rental of the pool. |

Shirley
has had over two decades of professional experience as a bodywork
therapist. She has a BA in Psychology and an MSW and is a graduate
of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy and the International
Institute of Reflexology. Shirley currently works in the Integrative
Therapy Program at Boulder Community Hospital where she administers
Comfort Care Massage to in-patients and their families. She has
been a massage therapist at BCH for the past 8 years in the Employee
Massage Program. Shirley also has training in cupping, hot stones
and Watsu. Shirley offers therapeutic massage & reflexology
and incorporates her techniques in the warm water pool for specialized
treatments. |
